TōFE Unplugged is the definitive document of the live TōFE experience.

Recorded on Saturday, June 15th 1996 at St. Mary’s Community Center in Bangor, this Rock-U-Mentary features interviews with all five members of the band and a full concert performance. Songs include fan-favorites “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Twist and Shout” and “Blister In The Sun.” This gig features the only known TōFE performance of “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.” As with all classic-era TōFE gigs, the show opens with “Jungle Love” and closes with an epic retelling of “Hey Jude.”

A church basement was TōFE’s natural habitat. The guys didn’t need a big stage, special lights, or a bowl full of green M&Ms to make the magic happen. All they needed was a big room, big sounds and lots of dancing. The set list represents the times – classic rock, 90s rock, and band favorites. But no matter the song, you don’t miss the excitement in the room. They knew how to play.

Digitized and remastered for its 30th anniversary, it’s our privilege to present to you TōFE Unplugged.

TōFE Unplugged would not have happened without Amy Friedenberg Clark and the 1996 team at ABF Studios. THANK YOU AMY.

TōFE Unplugged was originally a joint production of TōFE and ABF Studios. The 2026 digitized remaster is a joint production of BAM-JaM Productions, Cavendish Lane Studios, and AC Productions LTD (the current holding company for ABF Studios).
